IT Service Delivery Technician

We currently have an exceptional opportunity for an IT Service Delivery Technician to join our New York Corporate Headquarters. The ideal candidate will have good organizational skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to solve problems.

Job Responsibilities

As an IT Service Delivery Technician you will provide support to users; includes configuration,  maintenance , and  troubleshooting  of user desktop systems including hardware and software.  You will assure user satisfaction and work closely with our national IT team across our Syska office locations.

Delivery Technician responsibilities:
  • Complete assigned helpdesk initiated requests per established Service Level Agreements
  • Configure, install, maintain and repair desktops including operating systems and desktop applications     
  • Troubleshoot problems with hardware, software, printing and network connectivity
  • Perform on-going testing of workstations, physical connectivity and client software
  • Setup, installation, diagnostic testing, delivery and repair of telecommunication systems
  • Maintain and manage IT inventory and assets
  • Provide as needed priority support for end-users and IT Managers in emergency situations
  • Train colleagues and users in hardware and IT supported software operation


Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Working practical knowledge of computer workstations, laptops, server hardware and configurations
  • Able to maintain, diagnose and repair computers within established guidelines
  • Ability to perform complex testing and installation of computer workstations and network        
  • Respond and perform complex diagnostic, maintenance and repairs on systems and peripherals locally and remotely
  • Coordinate and document resolution with appropriate parties
  • Able to communicate with IT clients and appropriately escalate their issues if necessary in a timely manner


IT Service Delivery Technician

Job Requirements
  • IT Trade School Graduate, or Associate degree in a related field of Information Technology
  • Two (2) to Three (3) years of experience in a similar role
  • Minimum CompTIA A+ certification or equal, vendor certifications a plus
  • Desire and ability to be flexible for  overtime  and travel, as needed
  • Valid US driver’s license
  • Desire for continued education and working on various industry certification(s)
