Marketing Manager

We currently have an exceptional opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join our office in San Francisco, CA. This position also offers the option to work out of Los Angeles, CA. As the Marketing Manager you will be the primary contact for marketing in the West Coast servicing our Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego offices. You will be the primary point of contact for internal customers, accepting, initiating and distributing work within the marketing department and managing the status of jobs already in progress.  Responsible for regularly reporting production data, training efforts and regional market conditions to the Marketing Director.  

Additional responsibilities:
  • Train and oversee Marketing Assistants, Administrators & Coordinators in the West to accomplish marketing objectives
  • Manage the lead tracking, qualifications and proposal process, follows-up and monitors proposal results, and tracks hit rates within the firm-wide database (Deltek or other)
  • Provide leadership and guidance throughout the proposals and presentation process, ensure graphic consistency, elevate graphic presentations
  • Assist in identifying and targeting clients and researching those organizations as part of Client Development Plans; develop a strategic database with prime owner clients for targeted market segment groups
  • Implement local advertising and promotional activities, including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail in accordance with firm guidelines & standards, as directed by the Director of Marketing
  • Execute quality control for all marketing communications, including qualification materials, proposals, advertising and promotional activities, print, online, digital media, and direct mail collateral
  • Provide regular updates, technical input, articles and new write-ups to improve and update the website
  • Develop and maintain a network of industry, government, municipal, service provider and community contacts to keep abreast of new business opportunities, industry, and competitor activity
  • Facilitate Tradeshow organization for the business unit; assuring that handouts and presentations reflect current strategic objectives
  • Coordinates Local client events
  • Monitor PTO and work schedules for team members

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint software; InDesign; Deltek
  • Excellent verbal, written, organizational and inter-personal skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented with proven management skills
  • Thorough understanding of marketing concepts, and strategies
  • Ability to accurately gauge project requirements, deliver on deadlines, and manage a high-volume workload
  • Ability to train coordinators to work with minimum supervision in pressure environment

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or similar field
  • Seven (7) to Ten (10) years of marketing experience, preferably in the Architectural/ Engineering/ Construction or similar industry
  • Must have knowledge and experience in the A/E/C Industry
